Revolver

We’re excited to announce the 2014 Revolver roster featuring 23 returning players and 5 new faces.  This year’s tryout process was particularly competitive – a strong tryout cohort, the rapidly approaching World Ultimate Club Championships, and a few pro-league games thrown in the mix made for some very intense practice weekends.

Congrats to rookies Greg Cohen, Alex Evangelides, Simon Higgins, Eli Kerns, and Chris Kosednar for earning their spots on the team.  Revolver alum Robbie Cahill also returns after a year with San Francisco’s Blackbird.  Check out the Schedule & Results page to find out when you can see the new team in action.

Revolver takes home the championship and the inaugural USAU Triple Crown with a 14-10 victory over Seattle Sockeye in Frisco, Texas.  It was a gusty game, but Revolver punched in an early upwind-downwind pair of breaks and rode that to half, 8-5. Sockeye fought hard but was unable to mount a comeback before the soft cap and a final dish from Beau Kittredge to Josh Wiseman sealed the win.

Beau Kittredge also took home the men’s Farricker Award, continuing a proud tradition of excellence both on the field and in spirit of the game.

Revolver reaches the finals of the 2013 USAU National Championships for the fifth consecutive year after taking down Denver’s Johnny Bravo in the semifinals.  The finals, against Seattle Sockeye, will be held at Frisco ISD Memorial Stadium.
